2017 Season Sponsorship Announcements
Casey Wyatt, Wyatt Motorsports
Chrissy Wyatt- March 12, 2017

Newport News, VA- It’s been well over 18 months since a NWAAS late model stock car took a checkered at Langley Speedway. When the famed speedway didn’t open for business in 2016, Casey Wyatt took the season to regroup and rebuild. So when the announcement that Langley Speedway would be reopening for the 2017 season was finally made, Wyatt Motorsports went to work securing sponsorship for their team.

Casey will return to competition this season with the continued partnership of 92.9 The Wave. Team owner Wayne Wyatt stated; having a relationship with the station opens up many avenues for promoting not only the station and the race team, but also other sponsors of the 92.9 Chevy Late Model Stock Car.
Longtime supporters Kurt and Grace Lindsay, owners of While You’re Out Commercial Cleaning based in Newport News and Dwyane Strickland, owner of Forever Green Lawn Care have also committed to return to the team with their full support for the season.

In addition to our continued supporters, we are proud to announce two new partnerships for the upcoming season. Steve and Nancy Hathaway, owners of Hathaway Generators of Williamsburg are partnering with Wyatt Motorsports not only to promote their brand and services, but also to bring awareness to the “Heart for Orphans” organization. Steve and Nancy have supported this group for many years and feel that they can reach a new audience with their involvement in motorsports. Wyatt Motorsports will be announcing more plans to further awareness and fundraising events to bring awareness with Steve and Nancy.

Wyatt Motorsports team owner Wayne Wyatt, is also happy to announce that Nelson and Janice Hinson, owners of Denbigh Construction and their family will be a part of our team not only on the track; but off. Nelson a longtime friend of Wayne’s will be discussing ways to honor and promote different schools, sports teams, churches, and other events throughout the year. Wyatt explained that Nelson understands the attention and excitement that being involved with the race team can bring by displaying logo’s and names on the side of the car this year; thereby promoting and honoring those teams and their accomplishments. An example would be the CNU’s girls’ basketball team, who are playing this weekend in Ohio trying to reach their first Final Four tournament.
Wyatt stated, with a brand new car, Langley reopening and the support of past and new sponsors, the team can’t wait until April 1st, opening night at Langley Speedway.

Casey Wyatt is starting his 25th season of racing and drives in the NASCAR Whelen-All American Late Model Stock Car Series for Wyatt Motorsports.
